"Joletta's music is powerful. Her songs of freedom through Christ are such a blessing!"

Pastor David Saltzman, Verdugo Community Church (Los Angles, CA)

Joletta Sells is a worship leader and award-winning Christian artist who combines heartfelt soprano, refreshing sounds, and intimate stories in all her original songs. She composes contemporary worship songs, new hymns, arrangements of old hymns, sacred choral anthems, and musical worship selections for solo instruments.

Sells currently serves as Music Director for the classic service at Calvary Baptist Church (Lake Havasu City, AZ). She has led worship in many churches across the United States and within a variety of denominations. She believes musical worship is most meaningful when coupled with creativity. She explored this concept in her worship album, "Prays" (2022), which featured worship songs in the styles of contemporary, classical, gospel, and southern. The 2023 Rhythm of Gospel Awards nominated Sells and the "Prays" project for six different awards.

The "Prays" project and tracks from Sells's previous albums, "Change the Station" (2017) and "Short Stories" (2016) can be streamed or downloaded through all digital music platforms. Tracks can also be purchased here.

Sells is a music educator, focusing her 15+ years of music teaching experience on worshipers of all ages who desire to improve their musical skills to serve their church and their Lord. Additionally, she is working on her Master of Arts degree in Media Arts and Worship through Dallas Theological Seminary.
